Remove the shipping rates calculator and the cart note

Be Yours theme has shipping rates calculator and cart note, which are added to the cart page and cart drawer to let customers estimate their shipping cost and leave a message of their purchase before proceeding to the checkout step. However, you want to remove these functionalities for some reason. Let's find out how to do that in Be Yours theme.

Remove the shipping rates calculator/the cart note from the cart drawer

On your Shopify Admin dashboard, click Online Store > Themes.
On the Themes page, choose Be Yours theme and click on the theme's button Customize.
Next, go to Theme settings > Cart drawer. When clicking on Cart drawer, you will see the options Show cart note and Show shipping rates calculator. Based on your requirement, untick one or both options to remove them from the cart drawer. Then, click Save. In our example, we untick both.
The shipping rates calculator and the cart note are now removed from the cart drawer.

Remove the shipping rates calculator/the cart note from the cart page

On your Shopify Admin dashboard, click Online Store > Themes.
On the Themes page, choose Be Yours theme and click on the theme's button Customize.
Click on the top navigation bar and select Cart to open the Cart page template.

As you can see in the image below, the cart note and shipping rates calculator are visible on the cart page by default:
Remove the cart note:
- On the left-hand menu, click on the Subtotal section and untick the option Enable cart note. Then, click Save.
- The cart note disappears on the cart page.
Remove the shipping rates calculator:
- On the left-hand menu, navigate to the Shipping rates calculator section and click on the eye icon to hide this section. Then, click Save.
- The shipping rates calculator disappears from the cart page.
