The Featured collection section can now display products in two ways:

| Collection | Displays products from the selected collection. |
| Products | Displays manually selected products. |
If products are selected in the Products setting, they will override the selected collection.
Manual Product List in Featured Collection
STEPS:
1. Understanding the Products Setting
The Products setting lets you manually choose which products appear in the Featured collection section.
This is useful when you want full control over the displayed products.

| Collection | Selects a collection as the product source. |
| Products | Lets you manually select specific products. |
| Maximum products to show | Controls how many products display in the section. |
Important:
- If the Products setting is empty, the section uses the selected Collection.
- If the Products setting has selected products, those products override the selected Collection.
- The display order follows the order of the manually selected products.
- You can select up to 12 products.
- The Maximum products to show setting still controls how many selected products are displayed.
2. Add or Edit the Featured Collection Section
To use this feature:
- From Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the Be Yours theme and click Customize.
- Open the template where you want to edit the section.
- Add or select the Featured collection section.
- Configure the section settings.
- Click Save.
3. Display Products from a Collection
To display products from a collection:
- Open the Featured collection section.
- Use the Collection setting.
- Select the collection you want to display.
- Leave the Products setting empty.
- Set Maximum products to show.
- Click Save.
In this setup, the section displays products from the selected collection.
If the collection has more products than the number shown, the View all button can appear when it is enabled.
4. Display Manually Selected Products
To display specific products manually:
- Open the Featured collection section.
- Find the Products setting.
- Select the products you want to display.
- Arrange the selected products in the order you want.
- Set Maximum products to show.
- Click Save.
When the Products setting has selected products, the section displays those manually selected products instead of the selected collection.
Important:
The Products setting takes priority over the Collection setting.
5. Maximum Products to Show
The Maximum products to show setting controls how many products appear in the section.

| 4 products are selected, maximum is 8 | Only the 4 selected products display. |
| No manual products are selected | The section uses the selected collection. |

6. View All Button Behavior
The View all button works with collection-based display.
| Product source | View all behavior |
|---|---|
| Collection | The View all button can link to the selected collection. |
| Products | The View all button does not display because the section is using a manual product list. |
This is expected behavior.
When products are selected manually, the theme does not know which collection should be used as the full destination, so the section focuses only on the selected products.
7. Product Card Settings
The manually selected products use the same product card settings as normal Featured collection products.
Common settings include:

| Image ratio | Controls the product image ratio. |
| Show second image on hover | Shows another product image on hover. |
| Show vendor | Displays product vendor. |
| Show product rating | Displays product rating when available. |
| Show quick buy | Displays quick add-to-cart behavior. |
| Enable quick view | Allows customers to open quick view. |
| Enable color swatches | Displays color swatches when configured. |
| Enable countdown | Displays countdown information when available. |
| Show product highlights | Displays product highlights when configured. |
These settings apply whether the section uses a collection or manually selected products.
8. Notes and Limitations
Please note the following behavior:
- This feature is available from Be Yours version 9.2.0.
- The manual product list is controlled by the Products setting in the Featured collection section.
- The Products setting can include up to 12 products.
- If the Products setting has selected products, it overrides the selected collection.
- If the Products setting is empty, the section uses the selected collection.
- The Maximum products to show setting still applies to manually selected products.
- The View all button is only available when the section uses a collection source.
- Product cards still follow the product card settings in the section.
- Products must be active and available on the Online Store sales channel to display correctly.
Troubleshooting
If the products do not display as expected, please check the following:
- Make sure you are using Be Yours version 9.2.0 or later.
- If you want to display collection products, make sure the Products setting is empty.
- If you want to display manual products, make sure products are selected in the Products setting.
- If the wrong products appear, check whether the Products setting is overriding the selected collection.
- If fewer products appear than expected, check Maximum products to show.
- If the View all button does not appear, check whether the section is using manually selected products.
- Make sure the selected products are active.
- Make sure the selected products are available on the Online Store sales channel.
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the storefront.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the Be Yours theme.
