The Quotes section displays customer feedback, endorsements, or short statements in a horizontal slider. Each quote can include an icon or star rating, text, and an author.
Steps:
1. Add the Quotes Section
- From Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find your Be Yours theme and click Customize.
- Open the page template where you want to display quotes.
- Click Add section and select Quotes.
- Add or edit the Quote blocks.
- Click Save.
The section supports up to 9 Quote blocks.
2. Configure Section Settings
| Setting | Description |

| Heading | Adds the section title. |
| Heading size | Selects Small, Medium, or Large. |
| Heading tag | Selects the heading's semantic tag. |
| Show divider | Displays a divider above the section. |
| Highlight | Sets the color used by highlighted text. |
| Top padding | Adjusts spacing above the section. |
| Bottom padding | Adjusts spacing below the section. |
3. Add Quote Blocks
Each Quote block contains one statement or review.
- Under Quotes, click Add block > Quote.
- Select an Icon.
- Enter the Quote text and Author.
- Repeat to add more quotes, then click Save.

| Quote | Adds the main quote or review text. |
| Author | Displays the author's name below the text. |
| Enable highlight | Applies a highlight style to italic-formatted text. |
| Highlight style | Selects the visual highlight effect. |
4. Configure Highlight Styling
Highlight settings are available for the section heading and individual Quote blocks.
- Enable Enable highlight in the section or Quote block.
- Choose a Highlight style.
- Set the section's Highlight color if needed.
- Click Save.
Please use italic formatting by selecting the text you want to highlight and then clicking the italic (I) button in the editor.
5. Understand Slider Behavior
- Quotes appear in a horizontally scrollable slider.
- Customers can use the navigation arrows to move between quotes.
- A counter indicates the current quote and total number of quotes.
- If only one Quote block is added, the navigation controls are hidden.
- Quotes do not have an auto-rotate setting.
Quotes vs. Testimonials: Use Quotes for a text-focused slider. Use Testimonials if you need customer images or automatic rotation.
6. Notes and Troubleshooting
- Make sure at least one Quote block is added.
- If stars do not appear, check the block's Icon selection.
- If an author is missing, fill in the Author field.
- If highlight styling is not visible, enable Enable highlight and italicize the intended text.
- If navigation arrows are hidden, check whether more than one Quote block exists.
- The section supports up to 9 Quote blocks.
