The Inventory status block in Be Yours displays inventory-related messages on product pages and featured product sections.
It can show low-stock messages or incoming inventory messages based on the selected product variant.

STEPS:
1. Where the Inventory Status Block Can Be Used
The Inventory status block is available in product-related sections.

Theme block type:
inventory_status
The block follows the currently selected variant. If the customer changes product options, the inventory message can update based on the selected variant.
2. Add the Inventory Status Block
To add the block:
- From Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the Be Yours theme and click Customize.
- Open the product template you want to edit.
- Select the Main product section.
- Click Add block.
- Select Inventory status.
- Drag the block to the position where you want it to appear.
- Click Save.
You can place this block near the price, variant picker, or buy buttons.
3. Block Settings
The Inventory status block includes these settings:

| Show inventory transfer notice | Shows incoming inventory messages when Shopify has incoming inventory data. |
| Color scheme | Controls the style of the inventory progress bar. |
Inventory threshold
The threshold controls when the low-stock message should appear.
If the selected variant inventory is lower than or equal to the threshold, the theme can display the low-stock message.

Show inventory transfer notice
When enabled, this setting allows the theme to display incoming inventory messages from Shopify.
Color scheme
This setting changes the color style of the inventory progress bar.
4. Low-stock Message Conditions
The low-stock message only displays when all required conditions are met.
The selected variant must:
- Be tracked by Shopify inventory.
- Have an inventory quantity greater than
0. - Have an inventory quantity lower than or equal to the Inventory threshold.
- Not be set to continue selling when out of stock.

5. Incoming Inventory Message Conditions
The incoming inventory message depends on Shopify incoming inventory data.
The setting Show inventory transfer notice must be enabled.

The theme does not create incoming inventory data. This information must come from Shopify inventory and transfer data.
6. Shopify Inventory Requirements
To make this block work correctly, check the product or variant inventory settings in Shopify admin.
- From Shopify admin, go to Products.
- Open the product.
- If the product has variants, open the variant.
- Make sure Shopify is tracking inventory if you want to show low-stock messages.
- Check the inventory quantity.
- Check whether the variant is set to continue selling when out of stock.
- Click Save.
Important:
If Continue selling when out of stock is enabled, the low-stock message will not display.
7. Edit the Inventory Status Text
The text is controlled by the theme language content.
To edit the text:
- From Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the Be Yours theme.
- Click the three-dot menu or Actions.
- Select Edit default theme content.
- Search for the inventory text you want to edit.
- Update the text.
- Click Save.

Important:
If the text uses variables such as {{ count }} or {{ date }}, keep those variables if you still want to display the quantity or date.
8. Notes and Limitations
Please note the following behavior:
- The Inventory status block does not control product availability.
- The block does not make sold-out products purchasable.
- The block does not automatically notify customers when products are back in stock.
- The block does not collect customer emails for restock alerts.
- Back-in-stock notifications require a dedicated app.
- Low-stock messages only work with Shopify-tracked inventory.
- Low-stock messages do not display when the quantity is
0. - Low-stock messages do not display when Continue selling when out of stock is enabled.
- Incoming inventory messages depend on Shopify incoming inventory data.
- The block follows the selected variant, so each variant may show a different message.
Troubleshooting
If the Inventory status block does not display as expected, please check the following:
- Make sure the Inventory status block has been added to the correct product template.
- Make sure the product is assigned to that product template.
- Make sure the selected variant is tracked by Shopify inventory.
- Make sure the selected variant quantity is greater than
0. - Make sure the selected variant quantity is lower than or equal to the Inventory threshold.
- If Continue selling when out of stock is enabled, the low-stock message will not display.
- If incoming inventory does not display, make sure Show inventory transfer notice is enabled.
- If incoming inventory still does not display, check whether Shopify has incoming inventory data for that variant.
- If the text is incorrect, edit it in Edit default theme content.
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the storefront.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the Be Yours theme.
