The Comparison table section displays up to 3 selected products side by side so customers can compare specifications, features, and prices. You define the comparison rows using one Headings column block and the product-specific details using Values column blocks. The section supports up to 25 comparison rows.

Steps:
Add the Comparison table section
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize on your Concept theme.
- Open the page or template where you want to display the table.
- Click Add section and select Comparison table.
- Click Save.

Create the comparison headings
- Under Comparison table, add or open the Headings column block. Only one Headings column block is supported.
- Enter your row labels in Heading 1, Heading 2, and so on, up to Heading 25. For example, use Battery life, Sound, and Connectivity.
- Keep the row positions consistent with the values you will enter for each product. Heading 1 corresponds to Value 1, Heading 2 to Value 2, etc.
- Rows without a heading, or without any corresponding value, are not displayed.
- Click Save.

Add products and their values
- Click Add block and select Values column. You can add up to 3 Values column blocks, one per product column.
- Choose a Product for the column.
- Fill in Value 1–25 to match the heading rows. For example, enter 20 hours for Battery life or Bluetooth 5.3 for Connectivity.
- Use the Text size setting to adjust the appearance of values in that column.
- Repeat for the other products, then click Save.
- You can also connect supported product metafields using Shopify's dynamic source picker, so specifications come from the selected product instead of being typed manually.

Display yes/no features and product details
- Enter true or false in a value field to display a check or cross icon instead of the text. This is useful for features such as Noise cancellation or Water resistance.

- Enable Show vendor to display the product's brand/vendor.
- Enable Show price to display product prices above the table.
- Enable Select the first available variant to use the first available variant's image, title, and price when applicable.
- Enable Enable sticky product info to keep the product information visible when scrolling through comparison rows.
- Each selected product includes a product link and an appropriate Add to cart or View product action.

Customize the section heading and appearance
- Set the section Heading, Subheading, and optional Description.
- Adjust Heading size, Heading alignment, and Heading tag.
- Optionally add a Button label and Button link; configure the external-link and button-icon settings as needed.
- Choose a Highlighted text style, optional scribble, and reveal effect.
- Under Colors, customize text, background, highlight, and button colors or gradients.
- Under Section, adjust top/bottom padding, divider, full-width layout, and rounded corners.
- Preview on desktop and mobile, then click Save.

Comparison table vs. Product comparison
| Section | Main difference |
|---|---|
| Comparison table | Uses one Headings column and up to 3 Values columns. Merchants choose products and enter comparison values in the theme editor. |
| Product comparison | Uses Product blocks and supports a product selector when more than 3 products are configured, plus a Highlight differences option. It is the active section on the demo's Compare products page. |
Theme updates
- Concept 6.0.2 (August 25, 2026): Fixed the sticky comparison header animating more slowly than the rest of the navigation.
- Concept 5.3.3 (May 8, 2026): Fixed unit-price measurement translations in comparison tables.
- Concept 5.3.2 (April 6, 2026): Fixed empty columns in the Comparison Table section collapsing instead of retaining their width.
See the official Concept release notes.
Troubleshooting
- The table does not appear: Check that the section is enabled and that at least one Values column block is present. On the demo's Compare products template, Comparison table is disabled by default.
- A comparison row is missing: Add the matching Heading and at least one Value in the same numbered position.
- A product is missing: Select a Product in its Values column block. Without a product selection, a placeholder may appear.
- A true/false value shows incorrectly: Enter only true or false in the value field, without other text.
- Values are in the wrong row: Make sure Value 1 corresponds to Heading 1, Value 2 to Heading 2, and so on.
- You cannot add a fourth product column: This section supports a maximum of 3 Values column blocks. Use Product comparison if customers need to switch among more products.
