Image size guidelines of Concept theme

In Concept, there are no strict rules for image sizes, you can choose any size you want. However, for optimal display, this article will recommend image sizes to display perfectly on your site.

1. Image sizes for different sections & blocks

   To achieve optimal results in Concept, we suggest using a range of image sizes for various sections, as detailed in the table below:

   	Promotion image	The promotion images is in Mega menu section. The recommended image size for both desktop and mobile devices depends on the selected aspect ratio: Adapt to image - preserve your image ratio Square - at least 2000 x 2000 pixels Portrait - at least 2000 x 2500 pixels Landscape - at least 2400 x 1600 pixels Wide - at least 2400 x 1350 pixels
   Overlay group
   	Newsletter popup image	The recommended size for both desktop and mobile browser: 1080 x 1080 pixels.
   Template group
   	Collage blog post	To set the blog post featured image, you go to Online stores > Blog posts in your Shopify admin dashboard. Then click on the post and locate the Featured image box in the right-hand column to add the image. The recommended size for both desktop and mobile browser: 1600 x 900 pixels.
   	Countdown timer	The recommended size for: Desktop browser: 2200 x 1000 pixels. Mobile browser: 1000 x 1167 pixels.
   	Image comparison	The recommended size for both desktop and mobile browser: 1800 x 1013 pixels.
   	Shoop the look	The recommended size for both desktop and mobile browser: 1800 x 1191 pixels.
   	Slideshow	The recommended size for: Desktop browser: 2200 x 980 pixels. Mobile browser: 833 x 1000 pixels.
   	Testimonials banner	The recommended size for both desktop and mobile browser: 1800 x 1013 pixels.

2. Image sizes for products

   From the tab Products on your Shopify Admin dashboard, you can add new products with their images. These products and images will display in the product-related sections on your Concept website such as the Featured collection, Featured product, or Recently viewed products.

   

   We recommend using a size of 2000 x 2000 pixels for your images.

   That is all our recommendations for the best image sizes used on Concept theme.

   It is also important to note that you should apply consistent size for images in similar blocks under the same section. For example, you add a Slideshow section having 4 images, so make sure these four images have the same size.
