Setup Product Bundle section in Concept

This article details the step-by-step setup of the Product Bundle section, a method for grouping desired products for specific purposes, such as upselling.

💡 Note: This feature is available from Concept v2.0.0 only.

STEPS:

1. Create [Product Bundle] section

   1. In Admin dashboard > Online Store^[1] > Themes^[2] > Customize^[3] of Concept theme.

      

   2. Navigate to Home page^[4] > Template^[5] > click Add section^[6] at the position you want and select Product Bundle ^[7].

      

      There are three types of Product Bundle:

      • Product bundle - availble from Concept v2.0.0.
      • Compact product bundle - availble from Concept v3.0.0.
      • Floating product bundle - availble from Concept v3.0.0.

      They all have the same settings; select the type you need. For this article, we'll use the Product Bundle as example.

2. Setup [Product Bundle] section

   Once the block is added, you will see its settings on the sidebar.

   

   1. Selecting products for the bundle

      • Collection - choose the collection you want to display here in Product Bundle.
      • Products - or, you can choose the desired products instead of a collection. These products will replace the above collection when selected.
      • Maximum products to show - can be adjusted from 2 to 12.
      • Number od columns on desktop - for desktop display, can be adjusted from 1 to 4 columns.
      • Number of columns on mobile - for mobile display, can be choose 1 or 2 columns.

   2. Display settings

      These settings include all display configurations for this section: Heading, Heading size, Highlighted text, Color, Section padding, etc. Please configure them based on your needs..

   3. Saving and Publishing

      • After configuring the settings, review the product page preview.
      • Click Save to apply changes.
      • Visit the home page on your storefront to ensure the bundle section appears as expected.

Important notes on Discount settings

💡 The Product Bundle section is only for displaying selected products and does not handle discount setup.

💡 Discounts should be configured in Shopify’s Discount settings within the Admin Dashboard. These discounts apply to all eligible products but do not visibly reflect in the Product Bundle section.

💡 For example:

• The total amount displayed in the Product Bundle section does NOT include any applied discounts. This is due to technical limitations: Shopify’s discount information is only accessible in the cart page or cart drawer, not within sections like Product Bundle.

  

• The discount will be applied after clicking Add to cart, in the Cart drawer.
