The Help drawer section in Concept lets you display support content inside a slide-out drawer on product pages. Customers can open it from the Help desk link without leaving the product page.
How to Set Up the Help Drawer in Concept
STEPS:
Add the Help Drawer section
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize on the Concept theme.
Open the product template where you want to use the Help drawer.
In the left sidebar, add or open the Help drawer section.
The section can be placed below the main product section because it is a hidden drawer and does not affect the visible product page layout.
Configure the drawer content
Open the Help drawer section in the theme editor.
Configure the section settings:
| Setting | Description |

| Heading | The title shown at the top of the drawer. |
| Description | The text shown below the heading. |
Add Content blocks to display support items inside the drawer.
Each Content block includes:
| Setting | Description |

| Icon | Selects the icon shown beside the content item. |
| Heading | Adds the content item title. |
| Text | Adds the content item details. |
| Highlighted text | Highlights part of the heading text. |
| Highlighted scribble | Selects the scribble style for highlighted text. |
| Text color | Changes the text color. |
| Background color | Changes the block background color. |
| Gradient background | Adds a gradient background. |
| Highlight color | Changes the highlight color. |
| Gradient highlight | Adds a gradient highlight. |
Click Save after adding the drawer content.
Add the Help desk link
Open the product template in the theme editor.
Open Product information.
Add or open the Help desk block.
Set Help type to Drawer.
Enter the text you want to display in Help label.
Click Save.
When customers click the Help desk link on the product page, the Help drawer will open.
Show the Help desk link in the Share block
The Help desk link can also be displayed inside the Share block.
Open Product information.
Open the Share block.
Enable Show help desk.
Set Help type to Drawer.
Enter the label text in Help label.
Click Save.
Use a page link instead of the drawer
If you want the Help desk link to open a Shopify page instead of the drawer, set Help type to Page.
Then select the page in the Help page setting.
Enable Open in new window if you want the page to open in a new browser tab.
Preview the result
Open the product page on your storefront.
Click the Help desk link.
The Help drawer should slide in from the side of the page.
Check that the heading, description, content blocks, icons, colors, and close button work correctly.
Notes
- The Help drawer content is managed in the Help drawer section.
- The Help desk link opens the drawer only when Help type is set to Drawer.
- If Help type is set to Page, the link opens the selected Shopify page instead.
- The same Help drawer content applies to the product template where the section is added.
- To use different drawer content for different products, create separate product templates.
Troubleshooting
If the Help drawer does not open, check the following:
- The Help drawer section exists on the product template.
- The Help desk block has been added to Product information.
- Help type is set to Drawer.
- The Help desk link is visible on the product page.
- The Help drawer section has content.
- If using the Share block, Show help desk is enabled.
